AMSTERDAM — Heineken will overhaul its global headquarters in Amsterdam starting in 2026, with around 400 jobs impacted as part of the brewer’s new EverGreen 2030 strategy. The changes will see the head office become a more focused strategic centre, with some roles relocating to Heineken Business Services (HBS) and others discontinued altogether.

Heineken’s move comes as the company aims to boost efficiency and accelerate digital transformation across its operations in more than 70 countries. The group is expanding its Digital Backbone programme, designed to simplify business processes and leverage data for faster decision-making. The reorganisation includes the expansion of global capability hubs anchored in digital systems, enabling local teams to focus on market execution and growth. Back in May Heineken also announced the expansion of Heineken Business Services (HBS) with a new centre in Hyderabad, India. This new hub joins Heineken’s existing global network of capability centres, which provide essential services and support to its operating companies worldwide.

The restructuring builds on the previous EverGreen 2025 framework and reflects Heineken’s goal to respond more quickly to changing consumer trends and market pressures. The latest shake-up comes in addition to 200 roles in the Digital & Technology department already being transformed since October 2024.

CEO Dolf van den Brink said the company must “accelerate digital transformation and sharpen our focus on winning in the market,” and stressed that Heineken is committed to supporting affected employees “with care and respect.”

The full EverGreen 2030 strategy will be outlined at the company’s Capital Markets Event on 23 October in Seville, Spain.
